Certified Materials for Every Garment
At TTgarment, quality control begins before a single stitch is made. One of our most critical quality assurance steps is ensuring that every fabric, dye, and accessory used in production meets internationally recognized safety and environmental standards. We do not compromise on material quality — because your brand's reputation depends on it.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Certified Fabrics
All primary fabrics used in our garments are sourced from OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified suppliers. This certification means every component of the fabric — from threads to buttons to prints — has been tested for over 100 harmful substances including:
- Pesticides and herbicides — residues from cotton farming
- Heavy metals — lead, cadmium, chromium, and others
- Formaldehyde — commonly used in wrinkle-resistant finishes
- Allergenic dyes — colorants that can cause skin reactions
- pH value — ensuring fabric is skin-safe
This certification is mandatory for products sold in the EU and is increasingly required by US and Australian retailers. When you order from TTgarment, you can request OEKO-TEX® test reports for your specific fabric choices.
Azo-Free Dyes
We exclusively use azo-free reactive dyes for all our garments. Azo dyes can release carcinogenic aromatic amines when in contact with skin — our strict no-azo policy protects your customers and ensures compliance with EU REACH regulations and California Proposition 65.
GSM (Grams per Square Meter) Verification
Every fabric roll is tested for GSM weight upon arrival at our factory. We verify that the actual GSM matches the specified weight within a tolerance of ±5%. This ensures consistent fabric weight across your entire order — critical for maintaining uniform product quality and meeting your product specifications.
Colorfastness Testing
Before bulk production begins, we conduct colorfastness tests to ensure colors remain vibrant and do not bleed or fade after washing. We test for:
- Wash fastness (ISO 105-C06)
- Rubbing fastness (ISO 105-X12)
- Light fastness (ISO 105-B02)
- Perspiration fastness (ISO 105-E04)
Shrinkage Control
All fabrics undergo pre-shrinkage treatment before cutting. We test shrinkage rates according to ISO 6330 standards, ensuring your garments maintain their size and shape after washing — protecting your brand from customer complaints and returns.
