Raw Material Cost Advantage
Direct partnerships with fabric mills and raw material suppliers give us unmatched pricing power
Sourcing Raw Materials at the Source
The cost of any garment begins with its raw materials. Fabric, thread, zippers, buttons, and trims can account for 40–60% of a garment's total production cost. TTgarment has spent years building direct relationships with fabric mills, yarn spinners, and component manufacturers — bypassing the distributors and trading companies that inflate costs for most factories.
Direct Mill Relationships
We source our primary fabrics — including cotton fleece, French terry, polyester blends, and performance fabrics — directly from certified mills in China, Bangladesh, and Vietnam. These direct partnerships give us access to mill-gate pricing, which is typically 15–30% lower than what factories purchasing through distributors pay.
Our purchasing volume also qualifies us for bulk pricing tiers that smaller manufacturers cannot access. When you order with TTgarment, you benefit from the economies of scale that come from our combined purchasing power across all our clients.
Fabric Quality Without the Premium
Direct sourcing does not mean compromising on quality. We maintain strict fabric specifications and conduct incoming quality inspections on every shipment. Our team tests for GSM (grams per square meter), tensile strength, color fastness, shrinkage, and pilling resistance before any material enters our production line.
We stock a wide range of standard fabrics in our warehouse, allowing us to offer faster lead times on popular materials. For specialty fabrics, our mill network can typically fulfill custom orders within 7–14 days.
Trim and Accessory Procurement
Beyond fabric, we source all trims and accessories — including YKK and SBS zippers, metal hardware, drawcords, ribbing, and custom labels — through established supplier networks. Our procurement team negotiates annual contracts that lock in favorable pricing throughout the year, protecting you from market fluctuations.
Transparent Material Costing
We believe in pricing transparency. Upon request, we can provide a detailed material cost breakdown for your order, showing exactly what you are paying for fabric, trims, and accessories. This transparency builds trust and helps you make informed decisions about material upgrades or substitutions that can optimize your cost-quality balance.
